On September 9, 2026, the campus of Nibedita Public School, Bhatli buzzed with color, joy, and cultural pride as we celebrated “Nuakhai Haat”—a vibrant event hosted by our youngest learners from Nursery, LKG, and UKG.
The special event brought the authentic charm of a traditional market to our school grounds. Dressed in traditional attire, our little ones set up and managed creative Nuakhai stalls, displaying fresh vegetables, local produce, and delicious regional dishes associated with the auspicious Nuakhai festival.
Connecting Children to Their Roots
At Nibedita Public School, we believe that education extends beyond textbooks. Experiential events like “Nuakhai Haat” play a crucial role in introducing primary students to their cultural roots, rich heritage, and community traditions at an early age. Watching our young students interact, manage stalls, and share the spirit of Nuakhai was both educational and inspiring.
